When my kids were younger the Christmas season was a time of wonder, shining eyes and a little more time for life than usual. We would listen to Christmas songs and watch Christmas movies bundled up on the couch with hot chocolate after they went sledding with Dad. To be honest, their aunt had to come and bake cookies with them because I dreaded the mess, but we all enjoyed driving through the different neighborhoods and enjoying how people had decorated their homes and lawns. Today most of my kids are grown up but we still enjoy the beautiful Christmas Light displays. Here are some of the places we saw or heard of. If you know of another place, please let me know and I’ll add it to this! Grab a cup of hot cocoa and plan a little sightseeing trip for you and your loved ones.
In addition to the Christmas light shows below, I have also compiled a list for Free Christmas events in the Twin Cities! I had a lot of fun getting the list together which actually grew into a small eBook 😂 If you would like to have it just drop your name and email and I’ll email it to you.
Keep checking back for more free goodies!
